Problem Note 48470: Large SAS® Enterprise Guide® projects with many steps might stop working

While running a very complex project with 1,500 or more steps, SAS Enterprise Guide might stop working or it might generate a stack overflow error.
To attempt to work around the problem, make sure that the project window has been maximized, or run the job in batch instead of interactively.
If this does not solve the issue, then report the problem to SAS Technical Support.
